Mary Nadine Lambert, 82, of Madison, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Giles and Lillian Ziegler, and by her beloved husband of 51 years, James Lambert Sr.

Nadine is survived by her daughter, Dr. Jami Green and husband Greg of Hurricane; her sons, James Lambert Jr. and wife Alicia of Julian, and Mark Lambert of Morgantown. She was a proud grandmother to Johnna and Sara Green, Emily Cline and husband Alec, and Brett, Ryker, and Pierce Lambert. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Braddix and Sutton Lambert, and Liam and Lyvia Cline. She is additionally survived by two sisters, Sandra Kettner of Orlando, FL, and Cheryl Workman of Madison, along with several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving golden doodle, Maggie.

A 1961 graduate of Scott High School, she was honored as the 1961 Miss Scottonian. She dedicated 43 years of service to Boone County Schools, retiring with the respect and affection of countless coworkers, students, and families.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Melissa Sigmon for her loving and compassionate care, and special neighbors Brandy and Jay Conrad.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Boone Memorial Park in Madison, with Darrell Searls officiating.
