Linda Kay Hughes Kelley, 70, of Turtle Creek, WV, was born on September 30, 1955, and went to her Heavenly home on December 8, 2025.

Linda has joined her husband, Cecil (Butter) Jr. and her son, Curtis Kelley. 

She was the daughter of the late James “Shorty” Hughes and Lola “Violet” Cooper.

She is survived by daughters, Crystal (Bud) Elkins of Hewett, WV, Rhonda (Paul Stover) Osborne of East Bank, WV, and Dorothy Kelley; sons, Cecil (Leeann) Kelley of Peytona, WV, James Kelley of Ironton, OH, Melvin (Brandi) Kelley of Kimball, WV, and Christopher (Heather) Kelley of Foster, WV; sisters, Peggy Adkins, Bonnie Hughes, and Wendy Ixos; nephew, Josh Adkins. Linda is also survived by 19 grandchildren, Victor (Lily) Elkins, Shelby Elkins, Mason Shelton, Kaitlyn Kelley, Kristina Kelley, Isaiah Kelley, Alexus Kelley, Tiffany Kelley, Eli Kelley, Nathan Kelley, Piper Kelley, Makaylee Kelley, Cecily Kelley, Kay Kelley, Brayden Kelley, Hazel Kelley, Freya Kelley, Braylen Kelley, and Kinley Kelley. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Aiden Elkins, Arnold Elkins, and Ryker Hensley.

Special thanks to two special caregivers that were very special to Linda, Melinda Foster-Treadway and Sharon Chapman. She thought the world of you two.

Graveside services for Linda will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025 at Danville Memorial Park in Danville, WV, officiated by Luke Jowett.  Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV is assisting the family.
