Linda Sue Whitt Hager, 61, of Hewett passed away on March 12, 2014.
She was born March 24, 1952 in Ohio to Russel and Ava Evans.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Lee Whitt in 2007.
She remarried in June 2008, she married Clarence Hager. They had a happy, loving Christian home. Linda was looking forward to retirement in April 2014. She and Clarence were expecting to spend many loving and joyful years together. She was also looking forward to her first grandson whom she loved dearly, Caleb Wayne Lee Gibson, who was coming home from the hospital to be with the family Caleb is the son of Carolyn Sue Whitt and Ronny Gibson. Every time she went to the hospital she came home with great joy.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Hager; daughters, Connie Marie Whitt and Carolyn Sue Whitt; grandson, Caleb Gibson; three brothers, Roy Evans, Bill Evans and Ronnie Evans; three sisters, Brenda Evans, Judy Evans and Carolyn Evans. Linda also raised her sister’s daughter, Amanda Griffith from a child as her own who also has a daughter, Miah.
Services will be 2 pm Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Rusty Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Whitt Cemetery, Crawley Creek, Chapmanville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
