Lilburn Messer Jr., 68, of Branchland, WV died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
He was born August 8, 1947 and was a son of the late Lilburn and Ellie Adkins Messer. He was a general laborer working several jobs.
He is survived by his brothers, Edward Messer and Billy (Beverly) Jenkins; his sisters, Bonnie (Charles) Worley and Barbara (Jackie) Barker; three nieces; four nephews;his Aunt Betty Adkins and Aunt Ruth Plumley; and special friend Roger Bell.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin with Kenneth Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Walker-Adkins Cemetery, Branchland.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Friday.
