Leona Gail Roberts-White

Leona Gail Roberts-White, 58, of Livingston, TN formerly from Danville, WV went home to her Lord and Savior on November 17, 2022.
Leona was a very active member of her community for many years until her declining health took her away from it. She was an active member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church in Julian, WV. She was a member Purple Hats for Jesus, the Madison Danville Jaycees, a domestic violence advocate and worked for Community Action for many years. Leona touched a lot of lives doing volunteer work with these groups. She did everything from Secret Santa to Senior Dances and much more. She lived for helping others and taking care of her family.
Leona was preceded in death by both parents, Lushen Ray and Bonnie Ruth Roberts, stepmother, Janice Roberts, brother, Joey Jay and William “Spunky” Roberts, son, Philip James “PJ” White and both sets of grandparents.
The ones left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert White; daughters Jessica (Steven) Cook, Jolena (Eric) Fowler, soul baby Amee McCracken, daughter in law Aleesa White; sons, Quentin (Miranda) White, Rob (April) White; sisters, Gelie (John) King, Rita (Bobby) Gillenwater, Jennifer (James) Sanders; brothers, Sam (Peggy) Adkins, and Jackie Adkins, grandchildren, Douglas and Abby Cook, Kenley Grace White, Eli and Addy White, Easton and Jordan Fowler, Tessa White, Katie Hart, Stephanie (Dylan) Cannon, Olivia and Tyler McCracken; great grandchildren, Zane Lovejoy, Alex Kaufman and Marcellus Hart; along with a host of family and friends.
The family would like to thank Teresa Stowe, Heather Green, Celina Health Care and Caris Hospice Care, for the love and care of Leona.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Jimmy Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville, WV.
Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
