Lavonna Napier

Lavonna (Big Sis) Napier 61, of Branchland, WV born on June 26, 1965, and passed away on September 4, 2026. Lavonna was the daughter of the late Ezra Dyer and Wanoeta Moon Dyer. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Brittany Aldridge, sister Anneta Dyer, son-in-law Dennie Adkins, niece Ava Steele, brother-in-law Todd Marcum, grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her husband Roger (Chico) Napier of Branchland; one son Daniel (Crystal) Spence of Man; one daughter Kayla Spence of Branchland; one son-in-law Jeff Aldridge of Florida; three sisters Dewanda (Larry Joe) Tomblin of Ranger, Sheila (Robert) Adkins of West Hamlin, and Theresa Marcum of West Hamlin; Ex-husband and friend Charles Spence and Jennifer McCoy; grandchildren Alaya, Aleeah, Xavier, Savannah, Scarlett, baby Spence due April 2027, Greyson, Kourtney, and honorary Dakota, Kaiden, Alexander, Emery, and Phoenyx; nieces and nephews Katie, Samantha, Lucas, Lorne, Levi, Little Joe, Tonya, Tamara, Andrea, Tonya, Tinley, Addalynn, and Little Luke; Aunt Virginia (Wandel) Parsons and special friends Angela Maynard and Kim Dean.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday September 9, 2026, at Cove Gap United Baptist Church Wayne, WV with Bro. Johnny Abbott and Elder Winford Winters officiating. Burial will follow in the Cove Gap Resting Place Wayne, WV. Visitation will be after 6pm Tuesday at the church.
