Naomi Kaye Watson, 74 of Madison, WV went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025.
She was born on March 17, 1951 to the late Woodrow and Marjorie Thompson.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Watson.
She was a devoted wife, sister, mom, and friend to all. She loved being Mamaw Kaye and spending time with Bubby, Missy and their families. She loved traveling and holidays with her family. She was a lifelong employee and very special friend to the late Wayne Price at WZAC 92.5 FM Radio Station. She was a member of the Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 Auxiliary. She attended Hilltop Chapel Church. She was a 1969 Graduate of Chapmanville High School.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her sisters Nora Faye Thompson of Madison, WV and Janice Harrell of Shelbyville, IN; daughter Missy Green of Madison, WV; son Bubby (Selena) Brown of Madison, WV; step-daughter Missy (Earl) Williams; step-son John Watson; grandchildren Shawn (Amber) Green, Brittany Green (Justin Stivason), Cody (Rachel) Brown, and Sydney Brown; step-grandchildren Jasmine and EJ Williams; great-grandchildren Raylan Green, Brantley Green, and Beau Brown.
Services for Kaye will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV, officiated by Chuck Gillispie and Jeff Mosteller. Visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road in Madison, WV.
