June Barker, 65, of Madison, WV, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025.

She was born June 30, 1960 in Madison, WV and was the daughter of late Arnie and Ova Gunnoe. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Loretta Jean, Deloris Marie, Shirley Jean, Ethel Ann, Arnie Lee, John L., Patricia Ann, and Danny Lee.

She is survived by her loving brother Eddie Allen of Twilight, WV and sister Cindy Lynn of Fairdale, WV. June also has many nieces, nephews, and cousins that all loved and cherished her.

Visitation to honor June’s life will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. The funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Phil Rowe officiating. Tennille Holstein will be singing. Burial will follow at Greene Cemetery in Bandytown, WV.
