Juanita Sue Green

Juanita Sue Charles Green, age 84, of Uneeda, WV, laid aside her earthly body to await her immortal body on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

She was a 1958 graduate of Scott High School in Madison, WV. She worshipped with the Christians at the church of Christ in Uneeda, WV. Juanita retired from Boone County Schools where she worked as the payroll accountant for many years. She was an avid quilter and loved to travel whether on long trips or quick day trips. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. 

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents George Charles and Violet Booth Charles. 

Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Fred Franklin Green; son Stephen Wayne (Kelly) Green of Uneeda, WV; daughter Lisa Jo (James) Mounts of Avon, IN; sister Linda Charles Stone of Maiden, NC; three grandchildren: Tyler (Mindy) Mounts of Belfair, WA; Andrew (Rachel) Green of Richmond, KY; Amanda Mounts (Evan) Nelson of Corydon, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 13 with Joseph Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Danville, WV.

There will be a visitation one hour prior to service.
