Joyce Ann Ball, 75, of Missouri Fork, Hewett, WV, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at Charleston Area Medical Center after a long battle with kidney and heart disease.

Joyce was one of the toughest women. She attended Van High School where she was Miss Bulldog.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Cody Bias, and mother, Lilly Bias; sister, Patricia Deel; brother, Jimmy Bias and his wife, Gwendolyn.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Edward “Bud” Ball of Missouri Fork, Hewett, WV; son, Tony and Patti Ball of Hewett, WV; brother, Johnny and Becky Bias of Robinson, WV; grandsons, Josh and Kaley Ball and Jeremy and Jennifer Ball; great-granddaughters Aria and Adalyn Ball. Joyce is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She will sadly be missed.

Services for Joyce will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV, with services officiated by Roger McCauley. Burial to follow in Ball Cemetery on Missouri Fork, Hewett, WV.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
