Johnny Dale Green, 74, of Sylvester, WV passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Born June 1951 to the late John Henry and Abolene Green, Johnny served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the local VFW.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Wanda Tudor and Audrey Bartrum.

Johnny leaves behind a host of family, friends, and loved ones. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janet Green; son, Chris Green (Mickie) of Whitesville, WV; daughter, Jennie Ballard (Greg) of Brookwood, AL; seven grandchildren, Bryson, Austin, Brailee, Logan, Aaron, Brady, and Charlie; two great-grandchildren, Hagan and Aubree; and his brother, Rex Green of Sylvester, WV.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV, officiated by Mike Keeney. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
