John Eric Weaver, 57, of Danville, WV went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2021 after a brave battle with multiple myeloma.
John had a rich career of 30 years at the Department of Highways. He was as dedicated to his craft as he was to his family. He found pleasure in life’s simplicities. Whether it was camping, fishing, or sitting on the porch with friends, he was happy.
He was preceded in death by his father Alvin Weaver; and his younger sister Barbara Weaver.
John is survived by his wife of 31 years, Holly; his daughter, Baylee; his mother, Phyllis; his brother, Kenneth; and his nephews, Ethan and Cole.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 2nd at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Richard Runyan officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison.
