John Lee Crabtree, Sr. of Midkiff, WV died Friday May 10, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House Huntington, WV at the age of seventy-seven years, seven months, and three days. He was born October 7, 1946 at Allen, WV to the late Jesse David Crabtree and the late Rinda Spears Crabtree.
John is survived by three sons, Jesse Crabtree and Jacob Crabtree both at home and John Lee Crabtree Jr. of Neosho, Missouri.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 16, 2024 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home West Hamlin, WV with Joey Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Spears-Lovejoy Cemetery Ranger, WV. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
