Jo Ann Ramey 72, of Ranger, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.
She was born April 15, 1944 a daughter of the late Otis Sias and Kizzie Mae Ramey. She was a homemaker and attended Montana Freewill Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Jerry Beckelheimer.
She is survived by daughter Evelyn (Charlie) Brumfield of Ranger, WV; sons, Freddie (Patience) Elkins of Madison, WV, Timmy Elkins and Chris Elkins both of Ranger, WV; brothers Junior (Judy) Beckelheimer and Eugene Beckelheimer both of Columbus, OH, sister Janice (Gene) Wood of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Neal Smith, Haley Mounts, and Brayden Mounts; special friends, Sallie Neace and Brenda Baker; and a special pet Maggie.
She loved Jesus, and she lived for her children and grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 1, 2016 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Tom Frye and Ernest Neace officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery, Ranger, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to service on Saturday.
