Jean Javins Pratt Walton, 93, of Charleston, WV passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 22, 2023, after an extended illness.
She was born and raised in Foster, WV and was a graduate of Scott High School. She lived at Lippert Terrace in Kanawha City for 30 plus years and was a long-time member of Kanawha City Church of Christ where she was involved in many mission trips to Nicaragua. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at Heartland, CAMC General, Dr. Hash and as a private duty nurse while being an officer for the WV LPN Association. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Selina Chapter #81 at Malden. She had many interests and hobbies such as Red Hats, AARP Health Talents, Charleston Housing, Book Club, Computer Clerk, bowling, crafts, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She loved the outdoors and her favorite place to go was Camp (on the river).
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl A. and Maymie Smith Javins; brothers Cue and Carl E. Javins; sisters Mary Ann Halstead and Peggy Barker; and daughter-in-law Karen Darnell Pratt.
Surviving Jean is her son Steve Pratt (Becky) of Foster; daughter Debbie Keeney (Joe Bill) of Elkview; grandchildren Kelli Pratt Show (Greg), Brian Keeney (Bridgette), and Jodie Keeney Henson (R.D.); two great grandchildren Claire and Sadie Henson; sister Juanita Chambers (Dennis); and brother Larry Javins.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25 at Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV with Johnny Godby officiating.
