Janet Ailene White, age 86, of Wharton, WV passed away at her home on January 27, 2022.
She was born on January 27, 1936 in Adams County, Ohio. She worked at the Wharton-Barrett Library and attended Greenwood Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Jewel Edenfield; her husband Oather White; two daughters Tonya Ray and Sonya Ward; and two brothers Kenneth Edenfield and John Lee Edenfield.
She is survived by three daughters, Shelia Stanford, Pam Walker, and Karen (Bruce) Green. She is also survived by two sisters, Rita (Vandy) Vanderpool and Mary (John) Taulbee; also 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Johathan Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time.
