Janet Garrison Price

Janet Gerdine Garrison Price, 94, of Uneeda, WV was born May 1, 1928 to the late Frye and Georgie Garrison of Chesapeake, WV and passed away May 9, 2022.

Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Woodrow Price; brothers Jack and Robert Garrison.

Janet was a devoted Christian and a member of the Griffiths Branch Church of Christ for over 50 Years. Janet enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all caring for her family. Anyone that knew Janet would agree she had an infectious laugh and a heart of gold. She always enjoyed doing what she could for others along her life. “If I can help somebody along the way, then my living shall not be in vain” was defiantly Janet’s life motto. Everyone that met her came to love Janet and her caring personality.

She leaves to morn four children, Linda Fair of Sumero WV, Dinah (Bobby) Harless of Uneeda, WV, James Edward (Joni) Price of Sumerco, WV, and Kimberley Ann (John) Sturgeon of Charlette, NC; sister, Kay Francis Reavis of Charleston WV; six grandsons, Travis (Holla) Fair, Terry (Jennifer) Harless, Rocky (Denise) Harless, Jameson (Meredith) Price, Christopher Price, and Sean (Nikki) Nelson; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday 13, 2022 at Griffith Branch Price Cemetery, Uneeda, WV with Wendell Hill officiating with Wendell Hill officiating.
