Hubert Lee Davis Sr

Hubert Lee Davis Sr., 96, of Branchland, WV passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, after a long-fought battle in Aultman Hospital, Canton, OH.

He was born to the late Edward and Tennessee Davis on April 21, 1930, where he was one of ten brothers. Hubert was a Roofing Contractor for over 60 years and is a Koren War Veteran. 

Hubert is preceded in death by his late parents, Edward and Tennessee Davis, along side seven of his brothers: Marian, Elmer, Lambert, Ezra, Freddy, Arnie and Collie; and by three of his children: Clarence, Dana, and Gary.

Hubert Lee Davis Sr. is survived by two brothers: Golden and Wendy, alongside one son, Hubert Lee Davis Jr. and a mass of grandchildren who adored him. 

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. Visitation will be held an hour prior at 1:00 p.m. till time of service. Jonah Adkins will be officiating the service. The burial will follow in the Watson Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
