Howard P. Powell, 72, of Greenview passed away January 19, 2017 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was born November 27, 1944 and was a son of the late, Howard and Edna Powell.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Thompson of Wharton; son, Phillip Powell of Wharton; brothers, David Powell, Louie Powell and Randy Powell all of Greenview; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 24 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Luke Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Powell Cemetery, Greenview.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
