Herman Howard Miller

Herman Howard Miller, 89, of Clothier, WV passed away June 19, 2026.

He was born July 18, 1936 and was a son of the late Omer and Parthena Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Miller; sisters, Nancy Lockard, Edna Tabor, Emma, Ruby Jewel, and Eliza Etta; brothers Leonard and Ralph; and son-in-law James Cooper.

He was a member of Spruce Church where he was a Deacon. He graduated from the School of Hard Knocks with honors.

He is survived by his sons, Omer H. “Bubby” Miller of Clothier, Larry G. (Janet) Miller of Ethel and Clarence J. Miller and Carrie Fikani of Points, WV; stepsons, Johnny G. (Peggy) Bias of Clothier and George Key of South Carolina; daughters, Tina A. Pack and Brian Pritt of Nitro, WV and Judith R. Cooper of Littleton, CO; stepdaughters Robin (Jack) Ramsey and Pam (Donald) Bradley; grandchildren, Courtney N. Williams, Micah B. Pack, Taylor Bryant, Jennifer Miller, Teri Artz, Justin Cooper, Ronald Schaefer, Litl' Jon Bias, Freddy Mitchell, Kendra Bradley, Ashley Harless, and Melanie Goetz; 26 great grandchildren; nieces, Cathy Lockard, and Drema Tabor; and nephews, David, Richard, Cecil Lockard, Anson Jr. and Kenneth Tabor.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Ralph Caudill, Paul Little and Joe Lane officiating. Jennifer Miller will be reading the Eulogy. Burial will follow in Family Gardens on Low Gap Road in Madison, WV.

Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
