Herman Howard Miller

Herman Howard Miller, 89, of Clothier, WV passed away June 19, 2026.

He was born July 18, 1936 and was a son of the late Omer and Parthena Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Miller; sisters, Nancy Lockard, Edna Tabor, Emma, Ruby Jewel, and Eliza Etta; and brothers Leonard and Ralph.

He was a member of Spruce Church where he was a Deacon. He graduated from the School of Hard Knocks with honors.

He is survived by his sons, Omer H “Bubby” Miller of Clothier, Larry G. Miller of Ethel and Clarnece J. Miller of Points, WV; stepsons, Johnny G. Bias of Clothier and George Key of South Carolina; daughters, Tina A. Miller Pack of Nitro, WV and Judith R. Miller Cooper of Denver, CO; stepdaughters Kathy Robin Mances Ramsey and Pamela Kay Pauley; grandchildren, Courtney N. Miller Williams of Ocala, FL, Micah B. Pack of Denver, CO, Taylor of FL, Jennifer Miller of Hanover, Terry Artz of Ethel, and Ronald Schaefer of Clothier; 18 great grandchildren; nieces, Cathy Lockard, and Drema Tabor; and nephews, David, Richard, Cecil Lockard, Anson Jr. and Kenneth Tabor.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Ralph Caudill and Joe Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens on Low Gap Road in Madison, WV.

Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
