Harold “Cowboy” Allen Coleman, 82, of Prenter, WV gained his wings on January 28, 2026. He was born on March 11, 1943 and was the son of the late Reba and Paul Coleman of Hernshaw, WV.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dolly Marie Wilkinson; Orville Lee Jarrell; and Homer Lee Carpenter.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Susie Coleman; sons, Harold Eugene Coleman and Lonnie Yeager (Barb); grandchildren, Alecz Hanson (Graham), Coleman Yeager, Jeannie Marie Wilkinson, Martina Wilkinson, Tony Coleman, and Josh Coleman; great-granddaughters, Adrianna Wilkinson and Ember Hanson. Harold is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and two very special friends, Harrison and Janice Jackson.

Harold attended Atha Chapel in Peytona, WV. In his younger years, he played first base in softball. He also was a lifelong carpet and flooring installer.

Services for Harold will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Willliams Mountain Cemetery in Williams Mountain, WV.
