Guy Spence

Guy Spence, 85, of West Hamlin, WV died Wednesday November 6, 2019. He was born November 24, 1933 in Kiahsville, WV, a son of the late Charlie and Armeldia Watts Spence. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Spence; sisters, Thelma Spence, Toots Napier and Mary Potter; brothers, Freddie Spence and Charles Spence; and two great grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Timothy Spence, Vickie Payton, Pamela Smith, Teresa Smith, Sandra Hale and Renee Spence; ex-wife and friend, Marjorie Lawrence; two brothers, Chester Spence and Basil Spence; and one sister, Vada Cordell; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday Nov. 9, 2019 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Jack Marcum officiating.

The burial will be in the Pres Farley Cemetery, Kiahsville, WV. A visitation will be from 12-2pm prior to the funeral.
