Glendia Kay Stacy, 79, of Louisa, KY, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025. 

Throughout her life, Glendia enjoyed cooking, shopping adventures, and spending time in her garden. 

Glendia is survived by her loving husband, Thurman Stacy, and their daughters: Sonja Brown of Madison, WV; Sharmin Smith (John) of Madison, WV; Diana Stacy (Donnie) of Jolo, WV; Carolyn Stacy of Elkin, NC; and Susan Stacy (Kevin Linville) of Yadkinville, NC. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Sue Felty (Willie) and Regina Jarrell (Joe), along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her furbaby, Fred.

She is preceded in death her son, Joshua Lee Stacy; parents, Walter and Audrey McCormick; brothers, Thomas McCormick and Teddy McCormick; nieces, Kim Stacy and Olivia Jarrell, and her furbaby, Maggie.

Funeral services for Glendia will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV, with Alan Barker and Frank Ball officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Danville Memorial Park in Danville, WV.
