Geraldine Price, 76, of Alkol, WV received her Heavenly Wings on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theron Greene and Beulah Brown; her husband Clyde Curtis Price; her son, Craig Stephen Price; stepdaughter, Vickie Price; sister, Diane Pridemore; brother Junior; and nephew, John Pridemore
She is survived by her son, stepdaughter, daughter in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews to list.
She was a former employee of Park Avenue Restaurant for fifteen years and was affectionately known as “Gert” and “Miss Park Avenue.” Geraldine lived for her family and friends. Geraldine loved family get togethers where she would always make her famous potato salad and fried chicken. She loved playing games and taking walks with her family. Her family was always first. Her beautiful blue eyes and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by us all.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV at 2:00 p.m. with Mark Meeker officiating. Burial will follow in Orchard Hills, Sumerco. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
