Genivie Fisher 89 of Danville passed away Oct. 27, 2012 at home. She was a homemaker and attended Gospel Center Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Carrie Holstein; her husband, G. B. Fisher, Jr , daughters, Jane Burns and Annette Fisher; her sister, Pauline Sigmon; and brother, Melvin Holstein. She is survived by her son, Eddie Fisher of Danville; daughter, Janet (Thomas) Kessler of Clothier, brother, James Henry Holstein of Texas; sister, Evelyn Deviese of Marmet; son in law, Lawrence Burns of Danville, granddaughters; Carla (Jimmie) Hunt of Marmet, Sara (Charles) Green of Washington Heights; great grandson, Brodie Mason Green and many nieces and nephews; her foster daughter, Mazie Dalton, and special friends Teresa Cobb, Ann Carrico, Gail Jarrell and Cindy Cook. Thank you to caregivers Sallie Starkey, Christie Gibson, Janet Bowles and Mary Akers. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Rev. Walter Gore officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison. Friends may one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
