Gary Franklin Ramsey

Gary Franklin Ramsey, 70, of South Charleston, WV passed away suddenly at home Sunday, December 12, 2021.
He was predeceased by his parents, Johnnie and Joyce Ramsey; brother, Randall; and sister, Joan.
He is survived by one son, Chris Ramsey (Breanna) of St. Albans; daughters, Angela Graley (Jeremy) of South Charleston and Traci Pettry (Jeremiah) of Kanawha City; one brother, Stephen Ramsey of Danville; eight grandchildren, whom he loved and adored: Jeremy Jr, Savannah, Avery, Kiersten, Kaylee, Aubrey, Jaydon, and Jaycee. He also had special nieces, and other close family members that held a special place in his heart.
He was a retired coal miner where he worked hard for many years. He loved watching Mountaineer football, Browns football, and loved attending his grandkids ball games as much as he could.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Charles Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time.
Due to Covid-19 please wear a mask when attending the visitation and the service.
