Gary D. Adkins 68 of Madison, WV died Oct. 27, 2017 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oris and Grady Smith Adkins and a brother Danny.
Gary worked at Southridge Walmart, Madison Post Office and Boone Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by brothers; Richard Adkins, Kenneth Adkins, James Adkins all of Madison and Glenn Smith of Virginia, sisters; Mary (Kenneth) Jarrell of Bandytown and Reginia Jarrell of Fairmont, WV, two nephews, two nieces and three great nieces.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, McCorkle. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
