Ethel Marie Pullen

Ethel Marie Pullen 95 of West Hamlin, WV passed away on November 4, 2023 at Cabell Health Care Center. She was born December 3, 1927 at Myra, WV to the late Arthur and Berta Stowers Sowards. Ethel retired from Lincoln County Opportunity as director of Hamlin Senior Center, and also earlier in her career worked for Dr. G.O. McClellan. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Pullen and her son-in-law Greg Yeager. She was also preceded by her sisters Mary Weaver, Lilly Johnson, Irene Johnson, Elma Humel, Louise Lister and a brother Russell Sowards.

She is survived by her son Terry Pullen and his wife Jonel of Barboursville, WV; her daughter Kathy Yeager of West Hamlin, WV; two grandsons Matthew Pullen of Barboursville, WV and Jesse Yeager and his wife Kayla of West Hamlin, WV; and one sister Lorene Holley of Utah.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday November 7, 2023 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home West Hamlin, WV with Tom Jeffrey officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery Salt Rock, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Friends may express their condolences at handleyfh.com.
