Esta Jarrell

Esta Jarrell, 103 years old, of Danville, WV was born in Raleigh County, WV on February 2, 1920 and passed away January 19, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fonnie Workman and Milton Workman from Twilight, WV; her beloved husband of many years Martin Jarrell; her brothers French Workman of Twilight, WV, Archie Workman of Danville, WV, and Paul Workman of Twilight, WV; and her sisters Elma Ratcliff of Boone County, WV, Shelby Shelton of Chesapeake, WV and Augusta White of Bob White.

She is survived by her one and only living sister whom Esta lived with, Arbutus Workman of Danville, WV; she is also survived by many loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Esta was a homemaker and a member of Twilight Church of Christ.

The family would like to thank CAMC for caring for her and to all the nurses at Hubbard Hospice House for taking such good care of our little Esta.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 24 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Mark Meeker officiating.  Burial will follow in Lewis Jarrell Cemetery, Twilight, WV.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
