Elsie Joyce Busch

Elsie Joyce Busch, 78, of Uneeda, WV went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 7, 1948 to the late Luther and Delora “Dolly” Moore in Lincoln County, WV. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Franklin Eugene and Dorine Busch; brothers Buster and Mark Moore; sisters Anna Meadows and Rosa Adkins; sister-in-law Pegi Blevins; brothers-in-law Bud Meadows, Dennis Adkins and Hershel Prince.

Elsie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved talking on the phone to her family and friends. Elsie’s greatest joy and treasure in life was her two children and three grandsons. She dedicated her life to guiding, supporting and cheering them on. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on forever through them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Alan Busch; her children, Gene (Lora) Busch and Laura (Randy) Stowers; her grandsons, Cody Lee-Alan Stowers, Zackery Alan Bush, and Tanner Stowers; special niece, Rhonda Price; special nephew, Stevie Blevins; brothers, Denver Moore, Bobby (Brenda) Moore and David (Teresa) Moore; sisters, Helen “Libby” Prince and Kathy (Paul) Prince; sister-in-law, Diane (Steve) Allee; and a very special grand dog, Aries.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rexall Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Jim E. Stowers Cemetery, Griffithsville, WV.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
