Elsie Mae Billups, 67, of Alkol, WV passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 peacefully at home after a long struggle with cancer.
She was born and raised in Boone County. During the last 47 years she lived in Lincoln County raising her family and working 20 plus years in the medical field.
Left behind is her husband of 51 years, Clayton Billups; two children, Grace (Bud) Billups-McQuillan and Steven (TiAnna) Billups; three grandchildren, Elisha Woodrum, Cody Woodrum, and Julie Woodruff; two great-grandchildren, Emberly Lovejoy and Conor Woodrum; her mother, June Bias; sisters, Gay (Ron) Price, and Brenda (Stephen) Hayes; and brothers, Danny (Brenda) Bias, Joseph (Vicky) Bias, Mark (Darlene) Bias and Kenvil (Pat) Bias.
She will be greatly missed by many.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 29 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Randall Kinder and Chad Toney officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
