Ella Jane Long, 61, of Van, WV was born April 14, 1961 and passed away on October 7, 2022.
Ella was loved by so many and will be missed by all. She was the best wife and mother to her family. She worked for Boone County Schools for 25 plus years. Currently she was the accountant/payroll supervisor. Ella attended Bigson Freewill Baptist Church where she was the pianist.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sturgil and Camille Bias; grandparents Clarence and Opal Hurley and Demmie and Edith Bias; nephew Justin Warner; and two angel grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband Mark of Bigson; son Joey (Cassie) Bias of Robinson; daughters Ashley (Nick) Bratcher of Drawdy and Lauren (Michael) Bunner of Ansted; her eight grandchildren Christopher Bias, Kiersten Bias, Bella Bias, Logan Bias, Mason Bias, Nixon Bratcher, Aila Bratcher and Owen Bunner; brothers Kevin and Kerry Bias; aunts Gwen Smith and Barbara Sutphin; along with a host of family and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 11 at Bigson Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 10 at the church.
