Eileena Bailey

Eileena Bailey, 77, of Bandytown, WV, passed away February 25, 2022, peacefully and surrounded by her family. She was the definition of grace and all of her actions and words were the greatest example of a mother’s love.
She was born February 25, 1945, in Madison, WV, a daughter of the late Silas Fred Long and Clara Belle Long.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Long.
Eileena was a retired home health aide and devoted her life to taking care of others. She was a member and Sunday School teacher at Bandytown Church of Christ. Those who knew her loved her for her warm presence, kind soul, and her gift of cooking.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bo Bailey; one son, Tim (Victoria) Bailey; and one grandchild, Lexie (Willie) Kimler.
Per her wishes, a grave-side service will be held at Mid Ferrell Cemetery in Bandytown, WV, on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 11 a.m.
A special thank you is extended from the family to the nurses and staff in the Open Heart Recovery ICU at CAMC Memorial for their special care and love to our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
