Eddie Rakes

     Eddie Curtis Rakes, 68, of Ranger, WV died July 24, 2023.  He was born September 21, 1954 at West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Okey and Mavis Lovejoy Rakes.

     He is survived by his wife, Shella Rakes; daughters, Tausha and children and Tracy (Jeremy) and Children.

     Funeral services will be 12:00pm Thursday July 27, 2023 at Ranger United Baptist Church, Ranger, WV. The burial will follow in the Headley-Neace Cemetery, Ranger, WV.  A visitation will one hour prior to the funeral at the church.    McGhee-Handley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers,, make donations to Hospice of Huntington.
