Earl Junior “Tookie” Weaver, 68, of Bandytown, West Virginia, born May 17, 1955, passed away January 27, 2024 after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Denzil and Martine “Sebo” Weaver.
He is survived by his wife, Patti of Bandytown; two sons, Nicholas (Stephani) Weaver of Wharton and Shelly of Bandytown; two grandchildren Courtney (DJ) Jarrell of Foster and Jacob (Randi) Weaver of Bandytown; one brother James Weaver of Bandytown; and beloved Great Dane Dudley.
Earl was a graduate of Van High School Class of 1974. He was a retired coal miner from Peabody Coal Robinhood #9 Mines in Twilight. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and riding four-wheelers in the mountains. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Handley Funeral Home, Danville at 2 pm, Saturday, February 3 with Rev. Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Mid-Ferrell Cemetery located in Bandytown.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
