Dwight David Johnson, 61, of Akol, WV was born August 5, 1960 and passed away September 12, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Adkins Johnson; and two brothers, Dexter Johnson and James Johnson Jr.
He is survived by his father, James “Jim” Johnson Sr.; two sisters, Alma Johnson and Deborah Stowell both of Alkol; nephews, Raymond (Emmie) Green of Julian and Evan Redman of Alkol; niece, Leah (James) Ingram of Culloden; great nephews, Dominick Johnson-Ellison and Tee Jay Johnson-Ellison; and great nieces, Jaleah Ellison and Makalyn Green.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Bear Branch Cemetery, Spurlockville, WV. Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
