Douglass Lynn Davis, 63, of Branchland, West Virginia, passed away on August 10, 2026.

Born on August 9, 1963, Doug was preceded in death by his father, Pearley Davis; his mother, Kikuye Davis; his sisters, Debra Fraire and Doris Verlardo; his son, John Robert Davis; and his daughter, Heather Danielle Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Norma Davis; his son, Dustin Davis; his three grandchildren, Landon Hicks, Asher Davis, and Brooklyn Davis; his sisters, Dinah Johnson and her husband Todd of Winston, OR, and Junita Hollandsworth and her husband John of Fox Lake, IL; his brothers, David Davis of Branchland, WV; Daniel Davis and his wife Amie of Fairfield, PA; Dennis Davis and his wife Bonita of Hamlin, WV; Don Davis and his wife Johnna of Hurricane, WV; and Willie Davis and his wife Judy of Columbus, OH; as well as multiple nieces and nephews who he loved spending time with.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at McGhee Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV, with Reverend Joey Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
