Douglas McArthur Norman Jr.

Douglas McArthur Norman Jr., 62, of West Hamlin, WV passed away unexpectantly on October 20, 2026 at home. He was born January 19, 1964 in West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Douglas “Bubby”Norman Sr. and Wanda “Sue” White Norman. He is also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents Winfield S. Neace Sr and Dora Belle White whom he lived with when he was younger, Ray Norman and Dicie Vance Norman and his brother Randy Norman.

He leaves behind the love of his life of 42 years Tracy Cooper Norman; two children Jessica Vance and Jacob (Brittany) Norman; his granddaughter, who will remain “Paw Paw’s” girl, Savanna Addison Faye Norman, who was his world. He leaves his baby brother David Norman; his niece Emily Brooke Norman, with whom he shared a special bond. Ricky (Sabrina) Webb with whom he considered him his son; his special nephew Joshua (Kelly) Wiley; and his best friend Randy (Brenda) Chandler. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he loved.

He was a member of the West Hamlin United Methodist Church and was a retired warehouse supervisor at Accurate Plumbing Inc. in Hilliard, OH. He loved God and Tried to be a good Christian man. He loved to work on, buy, sell, and trade vechicles. If you needed him you knew he would be there and would always be the person you could depend on. He was loved by many.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sunday November 1, 2026 at the West Hamlin United Methodist Church, 118 Lincoln St. West Hamlin, WV. Please all are welcome and his family would like to share in his celebrations of his life.
