Don Edward Beckelheimer

Don Edward Beckelheimer 90, of Hurricane, WV passed away on April 12, 2025, after a long illness. He was born February 9, 1935, in Lincoln County a son of the late Delbert and Carrie Clay Beckelheimer. He was a signal man for CSX Railroad for over 45 years and a member of McClarity Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother John Beckelheimer and two sisters Jean Porter and Dorothy “Bood” McComas.

He is survived by his wife Mary Baker Beckelheimer; a daughter Trina (John) McLane of Crosslanes, WV; a son Don (Almira) Beckelheimer of Lynchburg, VA; grandsons Cameron (Brittany) and Caleb McLane; great grandson Pierce McLane; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Wednesday April 16, 2025, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home West Hamlin, WV with Johnny Courts officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery Branchland, WV. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Wednesday.
