Dianna Sue Marcum, a woman whose life was centered around love, laughter, and family, passed away peacefully Dec. 8th, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished most.

Born into the loving family of Betty and Elmer Keffer, who preceded her in death, Dianna grew up with a joyful spirit and a heart that naturally drew people in. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Buzzard, whom she loved deeply.

Dianna adored her family above all else. She was the proud mother of two sons, Robby Ray of Madison and Larry (Priscilla) Woodrum of Indiana, who were the center of her world. Her greatest joy came from being “Mamaw Dianna,” and she poured endless love into her three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and happiness. Also surviving is her sister Sandy and Babe Halstead and brother Elmer Keffer Jr. and wife Kathie.

Known for her quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor, Dianna had a gift for making others laugh—often at just the right moment. Her laughter, warmth, and playful personality will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Dianna Sue Marcum lived a life full of love, faith, family, and simple joys. Though she has left this earthly home, her spirit and the memories she created will continue to brighten the lives of those she loved.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those who went before her, and that her love will continue to guide them in the days ahead.

Services will be held on Friday. December 12 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with John Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Harless Cemetery, Drawdy, WV.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
