Delphia Opal Halstead, 84, of Foster, WV passed away on August 26, 2016 at CAMC General Division.
She was a member of the Rock Creek Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, and beloved mother. She volunteered for the US National Parks at Monongalia National Park as a camp host for 17 years.
She was the daughter of the late Julian and Garnie Ball, Greenview, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Buster” Halstead of 64 1/2 years.
She is survived by her children, Vivian Lea (Bennie) Parker of Allison Park, PA, Jesse C. Halstead of Foster, and Rita A (Wyatt) Bryant of Foster, seven grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Minister Gary Durham officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
