Delmer Dean Jarrell, 85, of Sandyville, WV passed away March 15, 2020.
He was born at Wharton, WV June 11, 1934, a son of the late Nova and Effie Jarrell.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen; sons, Delmer Jr. of Madison, Fred, Tony, and Jimmy all of Quinland; stepdaughter, Margie Smith of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a retired coal miner with Eastern Coal and a member of UMWA. He attended Jarrell Valley Community and Mt. Hope Church of God.
Private family service 2 p.m. Friday, March 20 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor David Hinzman officiating.
