Debbie Sue Parsons

Debbie Sue Elliott Parsons 58, of Branchland, WV passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, after a long illness surrounded by her family. She was born August 2, 1968, in Huntington, WV to the late Sarah Ann Elliott and lovingly raised by her maternal grandparents, the late Ernest and Delores Elliott. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Bill Elliott, John Elliott, Roger Elliott, Roscoe Elliott, and sisters Ella Long and Carolyn Elliott.

Debbie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her love, strength, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Debbie's memory include her loving husband Linus "Mike" Parsons, son Michael Parsons, her daughter Nicole Porter and her precious granddaughter Jodi Porter; her brothers Charlie Elliott, Clifford Elliott, Kensey Elliott, Marty Elliott, Wendell Elliott, and her sisters Rose Estep, Virgie Whisnant, and Mary Beth Elliott; several nieces and nephews.

Services to honor and commemorate the life of Debbie will be held at 2:00pm Friday September 4, 2026, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home West Hamlin, WV with Lonnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Warrick Cemetery Branchland, WV. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm until service time.
