David Dallas Thompson

David Thompson, 56, of Clothier, WV passed away Friday, July 28, 2023.

He was born November 23, 1966 and was a son of the late Dallas Thompson of Clothier, WV and Sharon Peak who resides in Sharples, WV.

David graduated from Sharples High School in the class of 1984.  He spent the next four years serving his country in the Army while stationed at Fort Polk, LA.  He was beloved by all who knew him and especially by his 7 nieces and nephews (Brian, Brittany, Corey, Nicholas, William, Henry, and Claire) who lovingly knew him as “Uncle Dave”.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Peak of Sharples, WV, and three brothers, Kevin Thompson (Hope) of Sharples, WV, Michael Thompson (Angela) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Steven Thompson (Misty) of West Chester, OH.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 4 at Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post #5578 of Madison, WV.

Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV is assisting the family.
