David Gerald McGuire, 73, of Sharples, WV passed away September 27, 2022 in Medina, Ohio.
He was an Army veteran and a retired coal miner. He was a member of Monclo Freewill Baptist Church. He loved to ginseng and four wheeling.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannetta Dawn McGuire; parents, Woodrow and Fannie Mae Smith McGuire; and brothers, Jimmy, Glen, Robert, Patrick, Larry and Billy McGuire.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannetta McGuire; son, David G. McGuire II; daughter, Shawndala McGuire; brother, Timothy McGuire; sisters, Debbie Hewett and Dorothy Hamilton; grandchildren, Kali, Kaden, and Kenzie McGuire and Jada Burgess, Nathen and Sarah Conley; great grandchildren, Paisley and Cohen Hammond, Kane Smith, and Greyson Rayburn.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Monclo Freewill Baptist Church, Sharples, WV with Pastor Joe Lane and Dennie Evans officiating. Military rites will be by the Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.
Family visitation 12 to 1 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
