David Joe Cook

David Joe Cook 60 of Hewett, WV was born January 11, 1965. He departed this life on Friday, August 8, 2025.

David was preceded in death by his son Kaleb.

He was a truck driver for Fitch Trucking, Sanders Trucking, and Madison Ready Mix. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Rose Ann Cook, father Jimmy Dale Cook, daughter Kaleigh Cook, grandchildren, Brystal and Magnolia, brother Scotty Cook, niece Lindsey Cook, nephew Justin Cook, and a host of friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Handley Funeral Home at Danville, WV with Rev. Tom Bias, Rev. Charles Gillispie, and Rev. Roger McCauley, officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens, Low Gap Road, Madsion, WV.

Friends may call from 12Noon till time of services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
