David William Bella, 70, of Danville, WV passed away February 14, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston,WV.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the UMWA, VFW Post 5578, Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter WV0308, DAV Chapter WV3, The American Legion Post 0200, the Blair Church of God, Danville, and was a US Air Force, Vietnam War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bella, Jr.; his wife, Maxine Mullins Bella; and his grandparents; Carrie and Lawrence Schultz.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey David (Brooke) Bella, of Salt Rock WV; daughters, Brandi M.(Robert Heard) Pritchard of Manchester, IN, and Joni Bella (Jim Price) Craddock of Sumerco, WV; his mother, Eileen May Gay Bella; a brother, Charles Bella III of Blair, WV; and sisters, Rebecca Payne of Jacksonville, FL, Beverly Stowers and Kathy Stapleton of Salisbury, MO; grandchildren, Isabella Craddock, Lillee Stowers, Derby Pritchard, Keenlyn Pritchard, Ethan Bella and Brody Bella and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Dr. Larry Bailey officiating. Military rites will be performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 of Madison, West Virginia.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
