Darrell "Bug" Smith, 76, of Branchland, WV died Thursday October 30, 2014 at the Putnam Center, Hurricane, WV. He was born July 17, 1938 in Branchland, WV, a son of the late Richard "Little Bob" and Oma Parsons Smith. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Arlie Hager.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Hager; granddaughter, Eden Miller; great grandchildren, Zachary, Brianna and Nicholas Miller; and a sister, Betty Triplett.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday November 3, 2014 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Sanders Cemetery, Branchland. A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Monday at the funeral home.
