Daphne Marie Hale, 96, of Danville, WV passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026.
She was born October 14, 1929 to the late Earnest Curtis Miller Sr. and Hazel Marie Wilcox Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Earl Hale; brothers Robert Miller and Curtis Miller Jr.; sisters Emogene Estep and Jeneva Miller.
Daphne attended Freedom Baptist Church in Madison, WV.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Hale Halstead of Danville, WV and Debbie Lacy; granddaughter, Amanda Marie Powell and her husband Phillip Don Powell; grandson, Kenneth Ramey; great grandchildren, Lexie Marie Powell, Steven Edward Powell, Victoria Dawn Ramey, Samuel Kale Ramey, Phillip Scott Powell and his wife Zelda Powell; great-great grandchildren, Parker Noel Hope and Harlynn Berry (Sassy).
A graveside service will be held for the immediate family in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV. Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
