Dana P. Carver, 80, of Seth passed away June 1, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice, West, South Charleston.
He was a retired coal miner for Eastern Coal Company and a member of the UMWA. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Van Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hoover; son, Tim of Williams, Mountain; daughters, Dana Osbourne of Charleston, Pamela Carver of Williams Mountain and Jennifer Spencer also of Williams Mountain; brother Ed Carver of North Carolina; grandchildren, Michael, Shena, Carrie, Tracy and Amy; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with visitation one hour prior.
